Pure Pro Wrestling training alumni Danny Astro lead his team of rookies to a victory against the champions of PPW & Jack Kelly. Originally the Michigan State Heavyweight Champion Dylan Night was supposed to compete, however an illness kept him out of action. Jack Kelly was forced to step in and fill his shoes and as a result the rookies had the advantage and ultimately capitalized.
The athletically gifted team of rookies showed no fear as they stepped into the ring with veteran champions. Although at times it looked like Astro and company were in dire straits, the rookies found a way to hang on and score an upset that truly allowed the team to make their own luck.
